Douglas Arndt

Doug Arndt was born in Pennsylvania but moved to Martinsburg at the age of ten. He graduated from Martinsburg High School and Shepherd College.  During college, Doug played football for the legendary Coach Walter Barr. After graduating from Shepherd, Doug enrolled in insurance school and, upon completion, joined the family practice, where he has been ever since. 

Doug's commitment to the local community is truly commendable. He has served as the Secretary of the Rotary Club of Martinsburg, dedicating his time and efforts to the betterment of the community. His passion for education is evident in his 14-year membership in the Read Aloud Program, where he has been reading to 2nd-grade students at Rosemont Elementary. Doug's love for sports led him to serve as the Tri-County Youth Football League's President and the Eastern Panhandle Youth Football League Commissioner, from which he retired in 2024. He also founded the WV Run n Gun Travel Girls Basketball Organization, coaching a 5th/6th grade team. He is a member of the Martinsburg Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce.

Doug currently resides in Martinsburg with his wife, Beth. They have five children: David and Darren, and triplet daughters Ashley, Bethany, and Caley.
